Doing your PGDM from an AICTE approved and NBA accredited institute makes me eligible for UGC NET and PHD?

I have done my PGDM from Asia Pacific Institute of Magement, New Delhi. It is an AICTE approved Institute and NBA accredited. I want to pursue my career in Academics. So I want to know whether I am eligible to give the UGC NET and also am I eligible for pursuing PHD? My area of interest in PHD is Service Marketing.
